What do you say to the love of your life, the father of your children, the man who is suppose to be sharing your life, whose life you have to keep going in his absence. What do you say to him when you get a two minute verbal conversation with him in a month. Do you talk about work; yours or his? do you tell him how much you miss him and love him and wish he was home every single day? do you talk about the kids events or holiday festivities that he is missing out on? do you talk about finance or the upcoming move? do you talk about the things you look forward to in the future when he returns? trips you may take or things you may do together? OR do you sit on the other end of the phone studdering like an idiot with every one of these things running through your head and wanting to say them all at once but knowing that you don't have the time to get through even one topic (like I just did). Maybe you don't worry about what's being said and you just enjoy the sound of each other's voice.
